Off The Wall

Please join us for our “Off the Wall” Art Exhibit, uniting artists from
The Arc Otsego and the greater community.
This show is inclusive and open to all residents in NY State
Request for Submissions: “Off The Wall” will be a curated group show for residents of NY State. We will be having an exciting show with an opening reception where attendees can purchase art off the wall to take home at the time of purchase. Just in time for the holidays, art purchased is available to take immediately for gift giving needs. There is no fee for participation in this show!
About the Gallery: Main View Gallery has been operating at our 73 Main Street address since 2007. Throughout the COVID 19 pandemic, employees of the Arc Otsego were hard at work creating a new Gallery & Gift Shop at 75 1/2 Main St. Oneonta, NY. The Arc Otsego believes that the power of art has a profound effect on building community. This project has been an effort to build a space for the community to enjoy and display artwork. The Arc Otsego has also launched art workshops at Main View Pottery & More Studio to coincide with the efforts of building community through the Arts – for more information on those workshops, email Anne Dudley-Smith at vromana@arcotsego.org
Deadline: November 7, 2025
Submitting: Artists should submit a digital image of the work they would like to submit, limit of two submissions, and an artist statement (one or two paragraphs). Please provide us with the dimensions and media type.
Preparing Image files: Images should be saved as jpegs, 1920 pixels on the longest side.

Notice of Acceptance: E-mail notification will be sent by November 18, 2025
Delivery of Work: Artists are responsible for delivery and return of artwork (shipped or delivered in person). All work will need to be ready to be displayed and delivered to the Main View Gallery from November 24 and 25, 2025 from 8am to 10am.
Sales and Commission: Main View Gallery requests that exhibited work be available for sale. MVG retains 30% of commission on all sales.
Liability: MVG can not insure work, or be responsible for loss, theft or damage. We do the best to make sure that all work remains safe and undamaged. If your work is selected, you may wish to retain your own insurance. MVG reserves the right to use images of accepted work for promotional purposes. Submission of your entry indicates acceptance of the rules of this show.
Fee: There is no fee for participation in this show!
