Pathway to Employment is a year long, person-centered employment planning and support service that provides assistance for individuals to obtain, maintain or advance in competitive employment or self-employment. This service is available to individuals expressing an interest in competitive employment or self-employment including individuals who receive Day Habilitation, Pre-Vocational, and Supported Employment services, as well as students leaving high school.
This program includes:
Career exploration and vocational discovery
Job readiness training
Job related discovery
Opportunity to learn and practice tasks necessary to obtain employment
Individualized and on-going job coaching
Travel training
Stress management
Vocational and/or situational observation and assessment
Community experiences
Education and counseling around benefits management and employment
