And so, our mission is simple – to create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to realize their dreams. Your gift will help us to continue to provide innovative services, programs and supports that create opportunities for a full life with dignity for all persons with developmental disabilities and their families across Otsego County.

Make a Donation
Making a single gift or regular monthly donation can be as simple as writing a check or authorizing a tax deductible charge to your credit card online, through the mail or by calling 607-433-8427. Donations may be given in memory or in honor of a special person in your life and/or can be unrestricted or designated to benefit a particular program or service offered by The Arc Otsego. Contribute to the Helping Hands Fund
We all need a helping hand at some point in our lives. The Arc Otsego’s Helping Hands Fund assists individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to meet unexpected challenges and access opportunities for which they lack the necessary financial resources. Helping Hands is hand up to meet life’s challenges and seize life’s opportunities with dignity.
Donate Savings Bonds
Giving your appreciated savings bond to The Arc Otsego is an excellent way to support the mission of The Arc Otsego.
Employers’ Matching Gifts
Your employer may sponsor a matching gift program as a way to support charitable giving in the local community. Contact your Human Resources Department to find our if your employer makes matching donations to support charitable giving in the local community.
Make an Honorary or Memorial Gift
You can express your caring for a loved one by making a gift in his or her name. By making an honorary or memorial gift, you are doing more than just honoring your loved one. You are making a real difference in the life of an individual with developmental disabilities.
Name the Arc Otsego as Beneficiary
Consider naming The Arc Otsego as a beneficiary on your retirement plan and/or life insurance policy. A traditional 401(k) or 403(b) is one of the best ways to donate a lasting gift to The Arc Otsego while minimizing the impact of potential income and estate taxes. You can also name The Arc Otsego as a beneficiary on your existing life insurance policy or purchase a new policy with The Arc Otsego as the owner and beneficiary.
