Individuals work with trained and dedicated staff to learn skills applicable to the work world as well as the fundamentals of employer expectations such as arriving to work on time, practicing workplace safety, handling daily job assignment changes, meeting the production needs of employers, dressing appropriately for the job, getting along with co-workers, practicing self advocacy and understanding employee rights and responsibilities.

Each staff person, whether direct care, production supervisor, professional counselor or support specialist, strives to ensure that each individual has multiple opportunities to achieve his or her personal and employment goals. As always, a person-centered approach guides the process and work opportunities are tailored for the needs and desires of the individual.

At The Vocational Training Center , we operate with a can-do spirit, with special attention to workplace safety and health and celebrations of our accomplishments.
